Pool reopens today

The pool reopens today, March 10. Lap Swim is Monday through Sunday from 7 to 10 a.m. Open Swim is Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Water Aerobics begins March 11 and is offered Monday through Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Beginning May 29, there will be two morning classes at 8 and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday along with a class at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

During summer hours, Water Aerobics will be offered in the evening at 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Water Aerobics costs $2 per class or $25 per month for unlimited classes.

Registration for swimming lessons begin April 1.

A valid POA card is required to enter the pool. Members must be in “good standing” to utilize the pool. Members must accompany and stay with their guests. Pool use is limited to six guests per tract/lot.

Members are reminded that there are no life guards on duty. Inexperienced swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible person who is sufficient maturity, size and swimming ability to assist the person in the event of distress or emergency. Swimmers who cannot swim 25 yards unaided must be accompanied by an experienced swimmer.

Children under five yeas of age are required to be under the direct supervision of a responsible person at all times. Toddlers/babies are not allowed to wander around the deck or sit on the edge of the pool unless accompanied by an adult.

Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. Persons 14 to 17 years of age and unaccompanied by an adult are required to have their own valid POA card and are allowed to bring one guest to the pool.

Proper swim wear is required. No cut offs allowed.

Proper waterproof swim pants or briefs are required for babies. The swim pant or briefs cannot disintegrate in the pool and must have waterproof containment to ensure leak-proof protection.

Smoking, alcoholic beverages, glass containers and animals (except for service animals) are not allowed at the pool.
