Meet Leo the Lizard today at Library

Leo, the extraordinarily ordinary lizard, will be the subject of a special story time today, September 23, at the Library. The 11:30 story time will include special guests Joy Kish and Jamie Frederickson, Leo’s author and illustrator. Everyone is welcome to this story time to enjoy Leo’s story, and in the challenges and rewards of being an author and/or illustrator.

Tutors will be in the Library at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 24. This program assists children in school subject they may need extra help in. The program also has SAT college-testing preparation assistance.

Monday, September 26, at 11 a.m., Mrs. Blackford will be back with Toddler Story Time.  Stories, songs, felt board stories and more are designed for children 3 and under.

Also on Monday, at 4 p.m., families are invited to see Disney’s 2016 “Jungle Book.” The Family Movie program includes free popcorn and drinks; outside refreshments are welcome. Movie and refreshments are supplied by the Friends of the Canyon Lake Library. The DVD/BLU-RAY movie will be included in the library’s collection after the program.
