Bill Van Dyke caught this 12-pound catfish off the Van Dykes’ East Bay seawall on July 1. His grandmother (and photographer) Pat Van Dyke says it is the biggest catfish Bill has caught in the 15 years that he has fished Canyon Lake. “His first catch was when he was 4 years old,” she says.
