Enjoy Easter fun on Saturday

Families are invited to hop on over to Holiday Harbor tomorrow, March 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the annual Easter Carnival and Egg Hunt.

Facilitated by the Jr. Women’s Club and the Men’s Golf Club, the Egg Hunt will begin at 11 a.m. with the tossing of golf ball “eggs” for children to gather. Each child who participates will receive a prize; but the child in each age group who finds the special egg will receive a $20 gift card to Toys-R-Us. Children need to bring their own baskets to collect the “eggs.” Egg hunts of the different age categories will begin as follows:

11:15  age 0-2

11:30  age 3-5

11:45  age 6

12:00  age 7

12:15  age 8

12:30  age 9

12:45  age 10-12

In addition to the Egg Hunt, wristbands will be available for $10, which includes unlimited access to the carnival games, bounce house, giant slide, bunny face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon clown and more. The Easter Bunny and Chick will be on hand to pose for photos, so parents are invited to bring their own camera for this photo opportunity with their children.

Tickets will be available to purchase food items and beverages. A drawing for prizes will take place towards the end of the event (ticket-holders do not need to be present to win). Tickets will be $1. Parents can buy last-minute Easter basket fillers from the various vendors.

High school volunteers are needed and can earn community service hours by helping with the day’s activities. To volunteer, call Heather Rose at 951-591-8168. The Jr. Women’s Club still welcomes donations or prizes from local businesses or clubs.
