Globe-trotting with The Friday Flyer in 2015

Each year, as they travel to locations around the globe, Canyon Lakers are invited to display a copy of The Friday Flyer with themselves in photographs and submit them to the newspaper to be featured in “Near and Far with The Friday Flyer.”

Each January, the editorial staff chooses the photographs that represent the “most.” This year, the categories are Most Humorous Pose, Most Interesting Backdrop and Most Unusual Destination.

Whether it’s a trip around the world or a special get-together in Canyon Lake, The Friday Flyer invites all residents to take a photo with their community newspaper and send it to news@goldingpublications.com. Photos of all vacations are welcome, but to be considered for Near and Far with The Friday Flyer and the year-end globe-trotting article, a copy of The Friday Flyer must be displayed in the picture.
