Tickets now on sale for two upcoming concerts

Tickets for the Valentine Concert featuring country music legend Hal Ketchum are now on sale. The concert will be on Saturday, February 13, at 7 p.m. VIP Tickets are $55 per person and include a private entrance with preferred seating closest to the stage and a separate VIP bar. General admission tickets are $30 per person. Tickets can be purchased on the Association’s website, www.canyonlakepoa.com, and are first-come first-served.

Hal Ketchum has had a gold album and a string of hits including “I Know Where Love Lives,” “Hearts Are Gonna Roll,” “Stay Forever,” “Five O’Clock World,” “I Miss My Mary” and “Just This Side Of Heaven.” Ketchum was inducted into The Grand Ole Opry in 1994 and was honored in January 2014 at a ceremony in Nashville marking his 20th year as a member of the esteemed organization.

He released a new album in 2014, “I’m the Troubadour,” that has been noted for its easygoing groove and lilting melody that should appeal to those who enjoyed country music in the early ’80s.

This is the first concert in the Association’s 2016 Concert Series. The Association first launched its Concert Series last summer with the concerts that featured country music icon Johnny Lee (in August) and American Idol super star David Cook (in September). Both concerts were well attended.

The Valentine’s Day weekend at the Lighthouse Restaurant no doubt will be busy, so reservations are recommended by visiting www.canyonlakelighthouse.com or calling 951-244-6841, ext. 720.
