Toastmaster to speak at upcoming luncheon

The next Chamber Luncheon will be on Wednesday, October 14, at 11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chamber. It will feature guest speaker Jack Kantola, a Toastmaster of more than 40 years who has achieved the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster and is a Qualified Speaker for the Inland Empire Speakers Bureau. Jack will be speaking about “Exit Strategies.” Cost of lunch is $7. The public is invited and seating is limited; RSVP to Chamber Director Alison Burrafato.

Chamber Mixer

Bombshells boutique will host the next monthly mixer on Wednesday, October 28, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Help sisters Johanna Granados and Stephanie Stout as they celebrate their store’s one-year anniversary; enjoy networking and visiting with associates. The store’s new location is next door to Pack Wrap & Post.

Parade of Frights

The annual Parade of Frights is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, starting at 9 a.m. in the Towne Center. Children will be invited to follow a “treasure map” as they collect candy from area businesses. There also will be carnival booths, games, prizes and costume contests.
