Letter: Wasting Time, Money

Editor, The Friday Flyer: 

Vote ‘no’ on recall. The current Board of Directors was elected by the majority of Canyon Lake voters in a legally sanctioned election. We must not allow a small group of disgruntled and malcontent individuals try to overthrow the results of the election.

If petitioners want change, they should run for office and work for the changes that they so desperately think are needed.

In my opinion, the Bylaws should be changed such that anyone who petitions for a special election or recall should be responsible to pay the entire cost of the special election if the measure does not pass.

If that were the case, maybe people would think twice before signing a petition and wasting our time and money with such trivia! Let’s change the Bylaws!
