Mika and Prince



Mika is a 5-year-old, silver and brown, female Terrier. Her caretakers say Mika would make a wonderful pet and add that she is a Toto (Dorothy’s dog in “Wizard of Oz”) look-a-like. Mika is already spayed and ready to go to her loving forever home. Her Intake number is 267049, and her Reference Picture number is 8123.

Prince is a 1-year-old, creme and white, male Domestic Short Hair. He has been around large dogs as well as other cats. Prince’s caretakers say he is friendly and loves people. He is already neutered and ready for his new forever home. Prince’s Intake number is 267119, and his Reference Picture number is 8106.



To adopt either of these pets, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys at 674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

  • During the month of August, all cats and kittens are only $5 (plus spay/neuter fee, if applicable) with approved application.
  • AFV has a spay and neuter clinic and also offers vaccinations and microchip implants at the old shelter location, 29001 Bastron Ave. in Lake Elsinore. It is open Mondays and Thursdays only. For an appointment, call 951-674-7729 (SPAY) or 951-374-3491.
