Editor, The Friday Flyer:
The taxpayers paid $1.6 million to install drought resistant plants; instead we got weeds with occasional flowers mixed in.
Our POA Board wants to spend at least $1 million for a new entryway that is only needed six to seven times a year.
We got an estimate of $800,000 to build a 1,200-square-foot tennis clubhouse. I am all for a tennis facility, but $667 per square foot is way too much money.
We are paying a utility tax to allegedly save Fire Station 60. Instead, the county closed the fire station. I now wonder how the 50.1 percent who voted to increase taxes feel?
I hope the recall election will be successful and come soon enough to stop this madness.
