This heron was undeterred by the wake boarding activity taking place in the North Ski Area last Saturday during Learn to Ride Day. With new runoff from recent rains, the fishing was good. Mike Clary captured this tranquil scene while photographing Learn to Ride Day. This “Photo of the Week” feature provides an opportunity for photographers, both amateur and professional, to share their work. The only qualifications are that photos must be of life in Canyon Lake and they must be clear and well lighted. A horizontal format is also recommended due to space constraints.
