Learn to Ride tomorrow at North Ski Area

Canyon Lakers of all ages are invited to learn how to ride a wakeboard or improve their skills at tomorrow’s Learn to Ride Day, sponsored by the Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club. Rides begin in the morning, July 25, at 9 a.m. at the North Ski Area; they’re on a first come, first served basis so arrive early for registration. The cost is $15 for each pull. Boats and equipment are provided.

Staff members will be on hand to provide training for the beginner, intermediate or advanced rider in wake boarding, wake skating and safe boating.

Club spokesperson Dave Clark says, “This is a great opportunity to come out and be coached by professional wakeboard instructors or just ride for fun. Be sure to demo some 2015 products and say thanks to our sponsors. All ages and abilities are welcome.”

He adds, “It’s a great way to spend the day. And remember, Learn to Ride Days are not just for those that want to learn how to wake board and wake skate. They’re also for anyone who wants to come out and ride behind the sickest wakeboard boats in the industry.”

The next Learn to Ride Day will be on September 12. The next wakeboard tournament, Stop 3, will be held August 22.
