Bailey Hanson

A20-PIC-1-senior-Bailey-HansonBailey Hanson, Temescal Canyon High School’s LEUSD Student of the Year, comes from a family of high achievers, led by parents Neil and Donna Hanson of Canyon Lake.

The youngest of three children, Bailey has a cumulative grade point average of 4.0. Her academic awards include Top Junior Academic Award, Top 25 Honor Roll, Principal’s Honor Roll, National Honors Society and Advanced Placement Testing Award.

She has been captain of the TCHS Dance Team from 2013 to 2015. She was president of the TCHS Fashion Club and president of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) Club. She received the Varsity Athletic Award, the Miss Snap and Flash Award and is a Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Cord recipient.

A20-PIC-2-senior-Bailey-HansonAt Temescal Canyon’s Scholarship Night, Bailey was the recipient of scholarships from the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club, Canyon Lake Jr. Women’s Club and Assistance League of Temecula.

When she isn’t busy with her Dance Team and Fashion Design pursuits, Bailey is the junior supervisor in the nursery at Cornerstone Church, and is a “Buddy Prom” volunteer at Crossroads Church.

It’s time to put a spotlight on graduating seniors

She has volunteered to work an an orphanage in Tijuana. She also volunteers at TCHS dance camps and at the local animal shelter.

Bailey is a Red Dress creator for the American Heart Association, and is coordinator for the Temescal Canyon High School Fashion Show. She also serves as an office assistant at Precision Landscaping and Maintenance.

Bailey says she plans to attend Woodbury University in Burbank in the Fall, and hopes to graduate in three years with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Fashion Marketing. She would like to become a stylist.

She also has a goal of starting a non-profit organization that gives makeovers to teenagers with cancer, “in order to help boost their confidence and make them feel beautiful inside and out.”

Brooke’s older brother and sister are Shane and Brooke, who also graduated with honors from Temescal Canyon High School and their respective colleges.
