Wegs host special visitor
Santa arrived at the home of Hans and Linda Weg on Sunday, Dec. 10, and spent several hours visiting with parents and children who stopped by to give their greetings and make some special requests.
While visiting Canyon Lake, Santa took the time to see the Golf Cart Pa- rade. When asked for his reaction to the parade, he said, “It was the best I have ever seen!”
Hans and Linda Weg report that Santa has been stopping at their home for the past nine years to spend time with the children of Canyon Lake. Several chil- dren who stopped by this year remem- bered visiting Santa at the Weg home previously. Teenager Alexa Manning has visited Santa at the Weg home ev- ery year. Four-month-old Maverick, son of Larry and Autumn Reed, visited with Santa for the first time.
When Hans Weg was asked why he invited Santa to visit, he remarked,

“Because I enjoy it so much.” Hans first greeted Santa when he was a teen- ager and renewed that tradition when he moved to Canyon Lake.

Macular Degeneration Vision Enhancement
Special Glasses May Help You Read Again.
O ces Throughout Southern California
California optometrist Dr. Richard Shuldiner is using miniaturized telescopes which are mounted in glasses to help people who have lost vision from macular degeneration and other eye conditions.
“Some of my patients consider me the last chance for people who have vision loss” said Dr. Shuldiner, “most people don’t know that there are low vision optometrists who have extensive experience in helping those with vision loss.We help people with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, RP and other eye diseases regain function and independence.”
Imagine a pair of glasses that can improve your vision enough to change
your life. Low Vision glasses may allow you to read, watch television, see sporting events, and even drive.
While there is currently no cure, promising research is being done on many fronts. “My job is to gure out everything and anything possible to keep a person functioning” says
Dr. Shuldiner.
