Kids summer Horse Camp begins Monday

ARIA certified trainer and Canyon Lake resident Kathleen Elliott is offering a kids summer Horse Camp at the Canyon Lake Equestrian Center from June 19 through June 21.

Hours are 4 to 7 p.m. The Horse Camp is for kids ages five to 15.

The cost is $300 (daily rates also available). A reservation fee of $50 is required. Reservation fee is credited towards camp cost.

Snacks, drinks, horse crafts and workbooks will be provided.

The program is designed to be a positive first introduction to horses. Through horse-related games and activities, campers will learn about the care of horses, their characteristics, breeds, colors and safe riding techniques.
