On June 20, the first and hottest day of summer thus far, 18 rigs from the Canyon Lake Roadrunners headed out for a week-long camping adventure at Puddingstone Lake in San Dimas.
Spokesperson and photographer Leann Kluck says that, although the weather was extremely hot on Monday, the hosts and committee did everything possible to keep outings and activities working as planned. Skunks were among their nightly visitors.
Activities included golf at Mountain Meadows, shopping in Claremont Village, good menus, campfires and fun lawn games (LCR, bean bag toss, ladder golf, Yard Yahtzee).
Hosts were Walt and Sue Popper with committee members Monte and Patti Baxter, Carl and Donna Calderon, Chuck and Karen DeSalvo and Jerry and Marilyn Serdinsky.
