Community enjoys western-themed afternoon

The Family Matters Club hosted its
2nd annual Western Barbecue on Satur-
day afternoon at Holiday Harbor Park.
The fun-filled western-themed after-
noon featured contests, carnival games,
face painting, petting zoo, pony rides,
country music, mechanical bull rides,
vendors and a barbecue lunch.
The Family Matters Club is open to
all residents, young and old, kids or no
kids. The club puts on several events
throughout the year to benefit the com-
munity and raise funds for philanthropic
endeavors. Club events are free or low-
