Canyon Lakers honor their mothers

To help celebrate Mother’s Day, The Friday Flyer invited
Canyon Lake residents to honor their mothers or the mother
of their children by sharing a favorite memory or a lesson
learned.

Well, Mom is in her 80s and I’m in my 60s. We’ve been
through a lot. She still tells me what to do; little helpful tid-
bits. I use to resent it but now I’m older and wiser. I’m so glad
she loves me enough to pass on her wisdom, like to wear a hat Dorothy Costlow

What is a mother? Is there a word, a single word that could
