RFID Transponder Price Reduction
The Association has reduced the cost of the Radio- Frequency Identi cation (RFID) vehicle transponders to only $10 per vehicle. As the Association works towards equipping all three community entrances with RFID technology, this limited time o er is to encourage more residents to utilize the new access technology. To get a RFID transponder, residents can simply visit the Association’s Member Services o ce. Residents must bring the vehicle in which the transponder will be a xed to, as Association sta will place the transponder on the vehicle. Unlike the vehicle decal, transponders do not need to be replaced annually. Transponders do need to be replaced if the vehicle or windshield is replaced. Once a xed to a vehicle, the RFID transponder automatically lifts the gate as the vehicle approaches, this allows for quicker and more secure entry.
