The community is invited to celebrate the end of summer at Hot August Night tomorrow from 4 to 10 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. The celebration includes a free concert headlined by “Little Lies Band,” a “Fleetwood Mac” tribute band.
“Little Lies Band” will take the stage at 8 p.m. and perform many of the tunes first introduced by Fleetwood Mac during the 70’s, 80’s and beyond.
The concert is hosted by the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild and offered to the community in appreciation of their support of the Fine Arts Guild during the past 16 years.
“The grass slope at Holiday Harbor provides the perfect amphitheater setting, overlooking the lake, for a summer evening concert”, said Fine Arts Guild President Travis Montgomery. “With the stage at the edge of the lake,
songs with simple acoustics, a fresh Americana sound and even a touch of blues.”
A free concert is not the only event of the evening. Starting at 4 p.m. in the upper park area, there will be a pre-concert party. The Guild will be featuring “Thunder,” the mascot of the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team, from 4 to 4:30 p.m. “Thunder” will be on hand to meet and greet guests. From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. “Moon Shot”, a rock and country oldies band, will warm up the pre-concert crowd until the main event begins.
Concurrently, the Jr. Women’s Club and Canyon Lake Family Matters Club will be hosting activities for kids and adults alike. The activities include a bounce house, crafts and vendor booths
