CL Toastmasters Club to host speech contest

Mike Irvin and Vince Sweeny of the Canyon Lake Toastmasters Club will be among the contestants competing at the Toastmasters International Division C, areas five and six, International Speech Contest and Evaluation Contest on Apr. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the country club. The winners will go on to compete at the District 12 contest on Apr. 28 in Riverside.

The public is invited to attend. Check-in is 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Doors will close at 2:30 p.m. sharp. Tickets are $5 at the door; potluck lunch included.

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Toastmaster Club meets every Tuesday from 12:05 to 1:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber in the downstairs room at city hall. Visitors are welcome.
