Canyon Lake Kids Club celebrates Easter with Easter Bunny, egg hunt

The Easter Bunny paid a special visit to the Canyon Lake Kids Club on Mar. 29. The club celebrated Easter with an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny and a potluck. More than 50 children participated. Every child brought 12 plastic eggs to the event and went home with 12 eggs filled with an assortment of candy and trinkets.

This month’s topics include Library Week, National Poetry Month, National Kite Month, National Garden Month, Earth Day and Recycling. The month’s Activities include stories, crafts and a visit from the Canyon Lake librarian.

The Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack for just $2 per session. Those who purchase a 10-class punch card will receive two classes free. Punch cards can be purchased in class.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Pool View Room at the lodge. The program is led by Sarah Card and Christie Hall. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page.
