Janet Stephens caught this bass last week at Sunset Beach. It was one of four largemouth bass she caught using plastic craws for bait.

The biggest of the four fish weighed 4.6 pounds. Janet said she always releases the bass she catches back into the lake and takes pride in trying to never damage the fish or leave a hook in their mouths.

Janet has set up a Facebook group for lady anglers called Canyon Lake Bass Babes and invites other lady anglers to the group who wish to share photos of their catches.
