Johnnie D’Alessandro treated her granddaughter, Ashley Warner, to a ten-day Azamara cruise for her 16th birthday. The ship sailed to France, Italy and Greece.

Pompeii, Florence and Rome are a few of the cities they visited while in Italy. In Greece, they visited Santorini and Crete.

The two enjoyed sightseeing and a little shopping. “There wasn’t much time for shopping,” said Johnnie. “I would have liked to have stayed longer in Rome. I love Rome.”

Ashley, a junior at Temescal Canyon High School, enjoyed the experience of eating food she never tried before, including escargot and lobster.

Johnnie said she loved the time she was able to spend with her granddaughter.
