Garden Club attends annual Lavender Festival

Twenty members and three guests of the Canyon Lake Garden Club attended the 13th annual Lavender Festival in Cherry Valley on June 9.

The group toured the lavender fields and learned about lavender and its many uses.

Member Leann Kluck said,” There are several acres of lavender plants growing and many different varieties.  The ladies working at the Lavender Festival gave talks about the different varieties as well as many other topics. We also purchased lavender products.”

“The whether was wonderful that day. We all had a good time,” said Leann.
