Single occupant accident results in injuries and damages

dec2-a-22This accident occurred on the evening of November 20 at approximately 3 a.m. on Vacation Dr. jusT east of Yosemite Pl. A resident who witnessed the accident says, “My wife and I were the first to arrive on the scene. We helped put out some burning embers.” The witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, says his wife witnessed the crash from their front window. “He was driving about 90-100 mph when he crashed.”

A second witness says, “I saw him drive by on Vacation Dr., he was going over 100 mph. He almost crashed on the curve past my house. I knew he was going to crash. Five minutes later I heard sirens.”

Jeff Roberts, a resident and captain at Station 94, says, “A single occupant was involved in a high speed traffic collision that resulted in major damage to his vehicle and a parked pickup truck. One male patient in his late teens or early 20s was transported to Inland Valley Hospital will moderate to major injuries.”
