Bring teddy bears to Library for today’s story time

“Teddy Bear Picnic” is the theme for today’s September 9 Preschool Craft and Story Time. The program meets at 11:30 a.m. and includes stories, songs, movement and a craft. Children are invited to bring their special teddy bears to the story time.

On Monday, September 12, at 10 a.m. the Library will host a birthday party for Curious George. Cake and ice cream will be provided for this activity celebrating the 75th anniversary of the beloved book character.  The activity will be in place of the Toddler Story Time program.  The toddler time will return Monday, September 19, at 11 a.m.

On Saturdays at 10  a.m. the Canyon Lake Library hosts tutoring for grade school youth and S.A.T instruction for high school students.  The one-hour program is provided by volunteer tutors.

The Canyon Lake Library is located inside the City Hall building. It’s open Mondays, 10 to 7, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 to 6, and Saturdays 10 to 3. It’s closed Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The Canyon Lake Library is a member of the Riverside County Library System (www.rivlib.net) honoring cards and returns from other affiliated libraries.
