Circus theme brightens cloudy Fiesta Day

The circus theme at this year’s Fiesta Day gave club members plenty to work with as they decorated their booths. With the exception of Friends of the Library and their “Greatest Show on Earth” booth, several Canyon Lake clubs were selling food and drinks in the central food court.

Although the decision was difficult, judges ultimately chose the Yacht Club’s booth as the Best Decorated Booth. Not only did the club members paint a red and white-striped “Big Top,” they attached stuffed circus animals to the support poles, and two of their members dressed up as clowns.

All of the clubs and organizations were raising money through sales for their various philanthropic endeavors.
