Buck-a-Bag book sale starts tomorrow at Library

The Spring Buck-A-Bag Book Sale will start tomorrow, March 14, and run through Saturday, March 21. The sale starts at 10 a.m. and will be available during the Library’s regular hours. New items will be put out as room becomes available and new items are received.

Springtime will be the theme for Miss Ginny’s Preschool Craft and Story Time today, March 13, at 11:30 a.m. It will include stories, songs and a craft the children may take home.

Monday, March 16, is filled with activities at the Canyon Lake Library. At 11 a.m. Toddlers will enjoy a special story time designed just for them.  At 12 noon a special program on burn prevention for children, “Careful, That’s Hot,” will be presented. The program is offered in partnership with the Grossman Burn Center and the Children’s Burn Foundation. It will address burn risks, prevention and first aid.

Later, at 3 p.m., is Spanish Time, a fun program for children grades K-5 to explore Spanish vocabulary. Spanish Time meets every first and third Mondays of the month.

Next Wednesday, at 11 a.m., the Canyon Lake Knitters will meet. Individuals with a variety of skill levels meet to enjoy each other’s company and make projects.

All Library programs are free and available to the community. The Canyon Lake Library is a branch of the Riverside County Library System. It is located down the hall in Canyon Lake City Hall, 31516 Railroad Canyon Rd. Hours are Mondays, 10 to 7; Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 to 6; and Saturdays, 10 to 3.
