Letter: Sunday Brunch at Lodge

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

My family and I tried the Lodge brunch on Sunday after taking a long break because of the horrible experiences we’ve had in the past.

I have to say, without a doubt, bravo! The service was impeccable. They actually answered my call to take a reservation (shocker). The food was fresh and tasty, although a little more cold salad variety would be nice.

The scenery, as always, reminds me why I have chosen to call Canyon Lake home for 23 years. The staff was trained, friendly and professional. We are looking forward to going back to try the dinner menu soon. I love that perseverance and, finally, the right management has brought us back to enjoy our own little gem in the lake.
