AUGUST 12, 2016 THE FRIDAY FLYER A-3 Association seeks input on what residents want
For several days now the CLPOA Facility Review Committee has been holding workshops to get input from community clubs and groups as to what they’d like to see happen with commu- nity amenities. Soon, an online and pa- per survey will become available for all those who are interested in the future of Canyon Lake.
The FRC is conducting a series of workshops to gauge the community’s interest in future community enhance- ments as part of a proposed “Long Range Plan.” The purpose of this survey is to allow residents an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas for ame- nity enhancements. Once this prelimi- nary information is gathered, FRC will present the community’s most desired projects.
So far, there have been six workshops and one joint committee meeting, result- ing in a list of more than 80 ideas. Clubs and committees were encouraged to at- tend the initial meetings to brainstorm.
Next, the committee would like to hear from everyone else at the last workshop to be held tomorrow, August 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Holi- day Bay Room at the Lodge. This last meeting is open to all CLPOA members.
Once a comprehensive list is created, a survey will be available on the website and at Member Services for homeown- ers to vote for the top five enhancements they would like to see on a Long Range Plan (one survey per tract and lot). The survey will be available by August 16.
