City turkey and food drive a success

Volunteers take a break after loading up their van with 80 donated frozen turkeys and half a van’s worth of non-perishable food for families in need during Thanksgiving. The H.O.P.E. organization handled the distribution of the food. The city called the 9th Annual Canyon Lake Turkey and Food Drive a success. “We were happy with the turnout despite the pandemic,” Tyler Ferrari, the city organizer, said. “We are thankful for the turnout from the community and greatly appreciate their support.”
