New Monitoring System

The system will alert Marine Patrol staff to speeders they can’t see and allow the POA to track and monitor its own Marine Patrol boats. Should a boat be exceeding the speed limit night or day, the radar arrays and software will track and target that boat and trigger the cameras to record their motion and CF number.

Country Club Water Feature

The POA Board of Directors approved $65,000 from the Repair and Replacement Reserve funds for a new water feature and signage at the country club. The old, out-dated water feature was recently removed from the circular driveway during the Parking Lot Pavement Project.

The new monument will feature the same rock and lettering as the main gate monument and the country club sign. The expected cost is not to exceed $65,000 for construction, permits, signage, water feature, rock, a mast-style flagpole, lighting and landscaping of multiple planter areas. This is a conservative estimate and any additional funds not used on the fountain and sign will be used to repair and renovate the other planters and landscape areas that were affected during the reconstruction of the parking lot.

Landscaping is not required on vacant lots; however, the property owner is responsible for maintaining the lot in a reasonably weed-free condition and in such a manner so that the lot is not rendered unsightly by reason of unattractive growth.
