Using crankbait, Brandon Helbock caught a bass weighing 5.11 pounds while fishing at the north ski area. Brandon, who started fishing at the age of five, has a passion for the sport. Earlier this year, Brandon placed third in the Jr. Bassmasters Tournament for kids ages 15 and younger. He participates in the annual Bassmasters Kids Fishing Derby and has won several times in his age group.
