Twenty Travel Club members enjoyed a trip to New Orleans Oct. 6 through Oct. 10 where they toured the city, the French Quarters, a plantation and a swamp. The group also attended a cooking class at the New Orleans School of Cooking where they learned to make Jambalaya. The trip was organized by member Nyla Finch.
The club invites the community to attend its upcoming annual Dinner-Dance on Dec. 13 and bus trip to see the Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn on Dec. 17.
The Travel Club will tour Dublin, Ireland, Edinburgh, Scotland, and London, United Kingdom Dec. 26 through Jan. 7.
An annual Travel Club membership costs $10 per person. Membership is not a requirement to participate in the club’s travel adventures; however, members receive discounted pricing on most trips and the first opportunity to reserve a space. For more information, visit
