CLAA Art Show features works of local artists


The Canyon Lake Art Association is hosting its annual Art Show on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the senior center. Admission is free.

The show features the works of local artists specializing in painting, drawing, digital art, photography and other forms of art.

Art will be available for sale. A raffle and silent auction will be held and light refreshments will be served.

Formed in 1976, the Canyon Lake Art Association is a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of promoting understanding and appreciation of the visual arts in the community, encouraging advanced study in the field of art and providing exhibits and programs for local artists.
Association meetings are held September through June on the fourth Monday at 7 p.m. at the senior center and are highlighted with demonstrations and/or paintings.
