Choraleers gear up for holiday concert at lodge

Silver balls on an evergreen tree, orange flickering flames of a fire alight the rosy red cheeks of children awaiting the arrival of Santa, the glistening white of winter’s first perfect snowflake, scarlet Pinto Noir paired with a golden roast turkey and sweet potato pie, these are the “Colors of Christmas”.

The Canyon Lake Choraleers will perform “The Colors of Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at the lodge. The ensemble, under the direction of Lorilee Bajema, will be accompanied by pianist Lynda Salina and orchestral and band members. A newly formed Children’s Choir will also perform.

The concert features such songs as  “Carol of the Bells,” the Hanukkah song “Eight Days,” and selections from “White Christmas” and “Frozen.”

Tickets are on sale now at Brown Paper Tickets. General Admission tickets can be purchased at the POA office. Tickets cost $25 for VIP, $20 for Reserved and $15 for General Admission.
