Honor a veteran with flag in Field of Honor

The Canyon Lake Veterans Day Committee and community volunteers will be planting approximately 200 American flags in the Field of Honor at the Veterans Memorial Park in the Canyon Lake Towne Center on Nov. 9. The flags will remain in the park until Nov. 15.

Individuals are invited to honor a veteran with a flag. Each flag bears the name of the honored veteran on a yellow ribbon. The cost is $10 per flag and can be purchased at Pack, Wrap and Post in the Towne Center. The last day to purchase a flag is Nov. 1.

Volunteers will be removing the flags from the park on Friday, Nov. 15. Those who wish to pick up their flags may do so between Nov. 12 and Nov. 15.
