Trick-or-treat at 27th annual Parade of Frights

Hosted by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, the 27th annual Parade of Frights will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 in the Canyon Lake Towne Center. Registration starts at 9 a.m. in front of City Hall.

This family-friendly event features costumed children trick-or-treating at more than 50 Towne Center businesses using the chamber’s “Treasure Map.” Participating businesses will stamp the map and hand out treats. Completed maps will be entered into a prize drawing.

The fun continues after trick-or-treating with a costume parade led by Lake Elsinore’s mascot Thunder, carnival games, a costume contest with prizes awarded in various age groups and inflatables.

DJ Mike Shroyer of Good Time Entertainment will be providing the music throughout the morning. The chamber will be selling water, juice and soft drinks. Businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring this event are asked to contact Alison Burrafato at 951-244-6124.
