CLAMS to host ‘Country in the Park’


The members of the Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) invite the community to dust off their western attire and join them for “Country in the Park” on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 5 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. This event features dinner, dancing and old-fashion, back-slapping fun.

Dinner will be catered by Swamp Daddy’s BBQ. Mark Houston and the Working Men will be providing the live entertainment throughout the evening. Tickets for this event cost $20. To RSVP, email Mark Inkrote at The RSVP deadline is Monday, Oct. 14.

CLAMS is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. The club raises money to help those in need locally.

Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising and fun times.

Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, May, October and November. For more information, email
