Chamber to host 27th annual Parade of Frights

Princesses, pirates, ghosts, superheroes, cartoon characters and everything in between are invited to the 27th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Canyon Lake Towne Center. Registration starts at 9 a.m. in front of City Hall.

Hosted by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Parade of Frights features costumed children trick-or-treating at more than 50 Towne Center businesses using the chamber’s “Treasure Map.” Participating businesses will stamp the map and hand out treats. Completed maps will be entered into a prize drawing.

The fun continues after trick-or-treating with a costume parade, carnival games and costume contests. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in various age groups.

DJ Mike Shroyer will be providing the music throught the morning. The chamber will be selling water, juice andsoft drinks.
