Jay White is returning to Canyon Lake on Oct. 19 to perform as recording artist superstar Neil Diamond. For more than 25 years, Jay has taken on the persona of one of the world’s best-loved musical icons. Many Canyon Lakers will remember Jay from when he first appeared at the lodge to a sold-out audience ten years ago.

With 38 songs in the Top 10 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts, Neil Diamond has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

Jay will be singing some of Neil’s all-time favorites, including “Sweet Caroline,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” “Longfellow Serenade,” “If You Know What I Mean,” “Desiree,” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “America” and “Yesterday Songs.”

“Jay’s Neil Diamond tribute act has headlined the Las Vegas Strip for eight years, which is the longest ever by a solo tribute artist,” said Fine Arts Guild President Ron Martel. “His nine-year run with Legends in Concert is also unequaled. After more than 9,000 performances, the Guild is thrilled to have Jay White return to Canyon Lake.”

Jay has appeared as Neil Diamond in the movie “Frost/Nixon” and appeared with Neil on his DVD Box Set, STAGES.

VIP Reserved seats are already sold out for this performance. A limited number of General Admission tickets are still available for $25 at canyonlakeguild.org and at the POA office. The concert starts at 7 p.m. The pre-concert reception for members of the Fine Arts Guild starts at 5:30 p.m. For more information, visit the Fine Arts Guild website at canyonlakeguild.org.
