Fans of the Doobie Brothers will not want to miss the Fine Arts Guild’s Doobie Brothers tribute concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the lodge.
Tickets cost $25 for General Admission and $45 for VIP. Tickets can be purchased at canyonlakeguild.org, the POA office (General Admission only) and at the door.
“Listen to the Music” is a re-creation of the popular 70s rock group, showcasing iconic rock classics such as “China Grove,” “Long Train Running” and “Black Water.”
Using the same instruments, costumes and looks as the famous band, the audience will be “Taking it to the Streets” and “Rocking Down the Highway” for approximately two hours. The audience will feel as if they have gone back in time to the days of that rugged and authentic rock and roll that made the Doobie Brothers popular.
The Doobie Brothers have had 16 Top 40 hits and their “Best of the Doobies” has sold more than 12 million copies, so almost every song in the upcoming Canyon Lake performance will be a familiar sing-along, toe-tapper and boogie-jam. “Listen the Music” will be playing Doobies blues, R&B, country, bluegrass and rock and roll, so there should be something for everybody.
Tickets are also on sale now for the Fine Arts Guild’s Neil Diamond tribute concert featuring Jay White on Oct. 19 at the lodge.
Tickets can be purchased on the Fine Arts Guild website. General Admission tickets cost $25, VIP tickets cost $45.
