Say goodbye to summer with live Hawaiian music and performances, delicious food and a beautiful sunset at the 7th annual Maui Monday on Labor Day, Sept. 2, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sunset Beach.

Hosted by the POA, Maui Monday features food, music, contests and performances by the professional Polynesian Entertainment Group. The POA will be handing out free leis while supplies last.

Once the sun goes down, everyone is invited to gather on the beach to watch hula dancers, Samoan drummers and fire dances. Children and adults are invited to join in the dancing.

The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar will be offering an island-accented menu with the same set-up as Taco Tuesdays. So whether it’s to say aloha (good-bye) to summer, or aloha (hello) to fall, residents won’t want to miss this special event sponsored by the POA.
