Canyon Laker Jude Donahue and fishing buddy Gavin Tatum hooked up at the exact same time while fishing on Aug. 16 on the main lake. Jude used a squarebill crankbait and Gavin used a Texas Rig worm.

Jude is a member of the Canyon Lake Bassmasters Club. Fifteen-year-old Gavin has participated in the FLW Jr. Bassmasters Tournament for the past few years.
