All invited to WC Mermaid Festival pre-party

The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club invites adult members of the community to Neptune’s Saloon, a pre-party to kick-off the 5th annual Mermaid Festival, on Friday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the home of Mickey and Daryl France at 30873 Early Round Dr.

The party is coed, all buccaneers, wenches, mermaids and pirates are welcome. Costumes are optional but encouraged.

Tickets cost $10 and include one drink and appetizers. Additional drink tickets may be purchased.

Those interest in attending must RSVP by calling Daryl France at 310-902-5031. Proceeds from this event go toward producing the Mermaid Festival, which benefits the club’s philanthropic projects.

Found in 1972,  the Woman’s Club is a non-profit, non-partisan, philanthropic organization. Since 1995, the Woman’s Club has awarded more than $300,000 to local organizations and to Canyon Lake students in the form of scholarships.
