Signup for Little League Fall Ball

Signups are underway for Canyon Lake Little League’s Fall Ball. Boys and girls ages four to 12 who reside in Canyon Lake, Canyon Hills and Westridge are eligible to play. Kids who do not live within the boundaries but attend Cottonwood Elementary or Canyon Lake Middle School may also play.

The cost is $70 for all divisions. Registration includes season play with instruction, shirt, hat and belt. Players need to purchase their own pants and socks.

Online signups are taken Aug. 9 through Sept. 3 at clllca.com. There are no in-person signups at this time.

Players must be between the ages of four through 12 on or before Aug. 31, 2019. There are no exceptions. The age restriction is a national Little League rule not governed by Canyon Lake Little League. The age the child will be Aug. 31 will be their official league age and will determine the division they will play in.

The season runs from mid-September to November, ending before Thanksgiving break. All practice and home games will be at Gault Field in Canyon Lake. There is a new executive board and improved coaching guidelines this year.

The league is always looking for good coaches. Fall Ball is less demanding and a great way for new coaches to test the waters and for experienced coaches to keep in touch without the time demands of the spring season. For more information, call 805-297-5910 or email canyonlakelittleleague@gmail.com.
