In memoriam: Peter John Malone

Peter John Malone, age 83, passed away July 30, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, following a valiant battle with Lewy body dementia.

Peter was born and raised in Liverpool, England, the son of Frances and Christopher Malone. He served two years in England’s Royal Air Force before emigrating to Vancouver, B.C. Canada.  He lived there two years before once again emigrating to Torrance, California. He settled in Torrance for 30 years, then moved to Canyon Lake in 1991.

A jack of all trades and pioneer of his time, Peter is best known for his passion and work on Jaguars. Peter is survived by his loving wife Patricia, sister Judy Malone-Colling, his children Christopher and his wife Kristen, Elizabeth, Brian and his wife Michele, Nancy and her partner Gary and grandchildren Patrick, Colleen, Connor, Logan, Paige, Chelsea, Katrina, Alex and Magnus.

As requested by Peter, there will not be a memorial service. He willed his body to Western University of Health Sciences. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his memory to Hospice of the Valleys at hospiceofthevalleys.org or the Lewy Body Dementia Association at lbda.org.
