The Canyon Lake Association of Men hosted its annual Luau Picnic on July 17 at Holiday Harbor Park. More than 140 members and guests attended.

The festivities began with cocktails, followed by a catered dinner. Attendees were treated to the traditions of the islands with performances by Polynesian dancers.

The CLAMS is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. The club awards scholarships to deserving Canyon Lake high school male seniors and donates to other Canyon Lake clubs that help those in need.

Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising and fun times.

Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, May, October and November.
