With the busy summer season underway, the POA would like to remind members of some of the lake boating rules. Violation of these rules will result in fines and possibly revocation of boating privileges.

Rule LM.6.7 states that the main lake ski area, north lake ski area and the jump lagoon have a speed limit of 35 miles per hour during almanac hours sunrise to sunset, five miles per hour during almanac hours sunset to sunrise and during times of restricted visibility. East Bay, coves and all other areas are five miles per hour an no wake at all times. The fine is $100 per occurrence.

Rule LM.6.22 states that boats are not allowed to anchor, drift or come to rest in between center line buoys or within 20 feet of buoys in the East Bay. The fine is $100 per occurrence.
